Ranks

Elite Ranks

Lead Dominant | DNLD The lead dominants are an elite rank, and the highest order of the group. Though they consider themselves as a higher rank, they often mingle with lower pride members. They hold the ultimate breeding right, and decides who else can hold that right. Usually, the Lead Dominants are two lions of the opposite gender who rule as one, though it is not uncommon for there only to be a lone Lead Dominant or two Lead Dominants of the same gender.

Dominant | DND A Dominant is a trusted member of the pride who has been given breeding rights to more than one female, and no longer has to fight for that right. However, a Dominant can be challenged by lower ranks for their position.

High Ranks

Subordinate | DNS The Subordinates are the rank that looks after the lower ranks, and is below the Dominant rank. They are the most trusted members of the pride, but do not have breeding rights however such rights can be placed upon them by Lead Dominants. This rank does not have the right to banish or execute any pride member.

General | DNG Only the most brutal of lions may have the honor of holding this rank. They lead the Warriors into battle, and are responsible for appointing trainers for young warriors.

Shaman | DNSH The Shaman is one of the most wise of the pride, and is responsible for making sure any diseases are eradicated before they become an issue by any means necessary.

Pursuant | DNP The Pursuant is responsible for organizing all hunters, and keeping the pride fed. If there is ever a time when the pride is struggling with hunger, the Pursuant usually is the one who gets the blame. Also responsible for executing pride members who have wrong the Pride.

Vanguard | MNV The Vanguard has to be one of the most adventurous of the pride, Always keeping an eye out for the pride and exploring new territories. This rank is equivalent to a Lead Scout rank, as they also organize patrols and alert the pride to any dangers.

Normal Ranks

Warriors | DNW The warriors are the strongest of the pride, who aren't afraid to defend at the cost of their lives. Though this tends to be a male rank, few females can pass the General's tests to join.

Scouts | DNSC The scouts tend to be the sneakiest of the pride, often serving as assassins or spy's for the dominants. They also appear to be the most troublesome and rebellious.

Hunters | DNH The hunters are usually a female rank, as they are the most nimble and able to maneuver through hunting quick prey.

Mender | DNM The trainee/lower version of a Shaman, trained in basic medicinal abilities. Usualy des what they can till a Shaman arrives.

Lower Ranks

Adolescent | DNA The teenagers of the pride, whom have yet to decide their future ranking. Adolescents are responsible for changing out bedding and caring for the Elders of the pride.

Cubs | DNC The younglings of the pride. Killing one is a great crime.

Elders | DNE Seen as wise and experienced, they are usually sought out by a Higher ranks for advice. Killing one is also a great crime, punishable by death.

Other Ranks

Nomadic | N These lions are seen as friendly and welcomed with open arms into the pride. They usually stay a night or two with the pride from time to time on their travels.

Rogues | R These lions are not seen as friendly and are not welcomed into the pride or territory at all. If seen they are to be chased by Higher or Elite Ranked Member.
